Apex Magazine is on an indefinite hiatus. The decision was made that due to economic conditions that all efforts will be focused on the Book division until further notice. Watch our website for an update on when/if we will re-open.
I will be moving from Submissions Editor of Apex Magazine to "Go-To Gal" (submissions, editing, proofing, etc... as needed/wanted) for Apex Books and all around cheerleader for the Apex Book Company.

For those of you who are concerned about CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE URBAN KIND, don't be. I'm still editing the anthology. It is still coming out from the Apex Book Company in April 2010. So, keep writing!

Date: 2009-04-29 08:48 pm (UTC)That's perfect since I rarely send out a story without at least 2 rewrites. And it takes me forever to cycle through all my rewrites to get to the new stuff.
But I wrote my story for it. Hope you like it when you get it.
