The slushpile for the Edge of Propinquity for this month was surprisingly bad. Bad writing. Bad, boring stories. Most of them. One was so bad that I could not believe it had actually been submitted to me. Two stories were decent. One was kept for as a 'maybe' and only a 'maybe' instead of an immediate 'yes' because it is a little short on word count. One was turned away as not quite enough on theme.
