Despite the many travel woes I had (or maybe because of it—karmic balance and all), the reading at Borderlands was grand success. All the seats were filled, there were people standing around and the audience seemed to appreciate both the In a Gilded Light and Sparrow Hill Road readings. Seanan and I answered questions, talked about upcoming projects and signed books. The few Grants Pass anthologies I scrounged up (including my "Editor's Copy") were sold out within the first hour and a bunch of Close Encounters of the Urban Kind were bought. I only wish I had had copies of my collection—those, of course, showed up on the Monday after the reading. Pretty books though.

I really do love reading at Borderlands. It is a fantastic place, supportive of authors and had a great selection of SFF and Horror book. I left copies of Close Encounters of the Urban Kind there if you wanted one and didn't get a change to go to the event.

Hello! Good meeting you @ Borderlands! Thanks for answering my goofy questions. A shame your trip to and from weren't so great.
