OTOH, when I took an online workshop with James Gunn, I ran into someone who had encountered a professional at a workshop who insisted that headers Had. To. Be. Perfect. Wouldn't have been too bad, except that the Perfect. Header. was wrong (copyright notice, amongst other issues). Le sigh.
I don't think it's just Purdue, IOW. Someone's spreading that toxic competition mentality around and I'd sure like to know where it's coming from....
