Australia and New Zealand = Real Vacation

In two days, I will be traveling the farthest I have ever traveled. Europe was a long haul. Australia is going to be crazy. But, I'm excited. We've got the house/cat/mail sitter lined up and I'm happy to know that she has been fully accepted as part of the pride by even the littlest and most alpha of the kitties.

Phones for emergency use only.

Intermittent internet service. (Thus, email left unread for a while.)

All immediate work done with no immediate deadlines looming until late September.

I even have a really light WorldCon schedule.

Wow. It looks like I'm really going to be on vacation. I foresee a lot of walking and sleeping in my future and I'm looking forward to it. A lot of time to refresh the well and to think about the coolness that is upcoming.
