Reading Comes First

I don't know about anyone else, but I've discovered that I run in cycles between reading and writing. Some times of the year, I prefer to write constantly and read rarely. Other times of the year, like now, reading comes first and I'd rather read than write—which can be a bit sticky when one is under contract. Kind of like now. My writing is slower than I want it to be and my reading has picked up. I've got three books going on right now (Haunted Tales anthology, Ruby Slippers, Golden Tears anthology and Greenwitch) and I'm balancing them very well. To the point that I'd rather read than play Aion in my spare time. It is the changing of the seasons and I know I'm going to have to push the writing more as deadlines loom.
